Sleep With Caution

Heavy eyelids, struggling to win,
Forcing sleep on a reluctant body.
Mind controlling, me just listening,
All the night winds whispering so softly.

Eyes blink slowly, simply resting,
Fighting sleep off is a tiring game.
The enemy, sneaks up on me,
Seizing this chance to take me away.
